This Saturday and Sunday, Green Kwun Tong is hosting a two-day Green Horse to Success event!

We believe that there are many things to prepare before the Chinese New Year. Traditionally, the 28th day of the 12th month of the lunar calendar is the day to clean the house. If you want to be more environmentally friendly, we can teach you how to use less chemical cleaning agents for your spring cleaning, and how to make a soap with pomelo peel and yu ye (a type of herb) to remove dirt and grime!

We will also be using discarded but beautiful paper to write spring festival couplets on-site for participants. If you want to eat healthier, there will be vegetarian snack boxes for the new year! Remember to bring your own cup or water bottle. We will also teach you how to make new year decorations and pinwheels out of old red packets, and of course, there will be second-hand item redemption and recycling games! With such a rich program, there is something for everyone.
